Welcome to the Southern Taste website. Southern Taste Food Products, LLC was founded in 2009. After many years as a caterer, the state of the economy in 2009 caused the loss of over half of my business. At that point, I had to find a way to make a living. I decided to take one of my recipes and package it for resale. My Grandmother's chicken salad had always been a favorite with my clients, so I started with it. Southern Taste Home-Style Chicken Salad was introduced in two Lowes Foods grocery stores in July of 2009. And it was a hit. Today, the company has five products to include the Home-Style Chicken Salad, Carolina Pimento Cheese, Jalapeno Pimento Cheese, Deli Cole Slaw and Smoked BBQ Slaw. The product line is now in 65 locations. At Southern Taste, we pride ourselves on delivering the freshest products to our customers. You won't find any additives, fillers or added preservatives in our products. They are made just like you would make in your own home..... only you didn't have to.
